Then create a unique artwork using watercolour paints on 100% recycled paper, enhanced with salter water straight from the ocean all under the expert instruction of local artist, Trish Waters.

‘Intro to Drypoint’ is an introduction to the traditional intaglio print method in which we explore how an image can be transformed by the printmaking process. With an emphasis on learning the process and having fun, no prior experience is required.

Come and join in this workshop that will grow your love for cutting and sticking as you create a painted paper collage.

During this step by step style workshop, participants will replicate one of Fi’s original images, choosing from a range of images available. Each student is able to incorporate their own unique elements  into the image, making their own design choices along the way.  Kids are encouraged to share their stories of their travels and the animals and landscapes they have seen.

This is a perfect workshop for dog lovers! Bring a photo of your Dog and create a pooch portrait.

Using your own dog (or one of ours) as inspiration, select the textures, colours, shapes and favourite things to bring your fur friend alive in painted paper collage with a unique decorated frame, ready to hang or gift. 

Everything is supplied and you will be able to  follow Fi's step by step design process, to create your own unique paper collage illustration.

Unleash your creativity and add a touch of tactile charm to your home with a Loopy Loom Weave Workshop with Sarah Roberts.

Delve into the art of loom weaving, a practise that produces textured and striking designs to create visually interesting results. You will be guided through the process of different weaving stitches, helping you create a unique and eye-catching wall hanging using colour and texture. During this workshop we will be using unique clay beads made right here at Commonage Pottery to enhance your wall hanging.

Join us for a serene afternoon of pottery and sipping under the shady patio, with stunning views of lush lavender fields. During this immersive workshop, you’ll use fresh lavender to make beautiful, textured imprints in air-dry clay, crafting a unique keepsake to cherish.

Come along to enjoy an opportunity to practise life drawing. Please note this is a group and not a guided class. No experience required. All welcome at any level.You will be able to learn from others and ask questions at the end but this is not a class and some people do prefer to work privately.

There is a life model, easel and basic art materials included. You are welcome to BYO materials to work with or bring nothing and play with ours.

We will start the day with 3 hours session with a life model including timed short and long poses. Then we break for a shared lunch. The afternoon session will allow you to work up and develop your work in your own way and or medium. We conclude our day with complimentary wine and wander and a mini show (optional).

This is a great class to start your jewellery making journey. Create a set of beautiful sterling silver stacking rings. In this class you will twist, hammer, shape, stamp and solder your custom made rings. You will be able to create up three or four silver rings during this class.
