Introduction to Drypoint Printmaking with Unruly Garden Studio
Ever wondered what is involved in Drypoint Printmaking? Mel Lamanna will introduce you to the traditional intaglio print method in which you will explore how an image can be transformed by the print making process. Mel will guide you through the whole process with a meticulousness and passion that is contagious and has an emphasis on learning the process and having fun, no prior experience is required.
Using an acetate plate and archival quality materials you will cover basic mark making and inking techniques. You will work towards creating five different images based on your original drawing or photo.
All materials and light refreshments are provided and workskops take place in Mel’s Dunsborough studio. Numbers limited to 4 to ensure that you get full access to the print press.

At Flux and Facet you can create a permanent reminder of your visit to the sandy shores of the South West of Western Australia. In the relaxed studio you can make a piece of your own unique silver jewellery to take home.
No prior experience is needed. Just bring your smile and sense of adventure. All tools and materials provided including as many cups of tea as you can manage. These laid-back workshops are best enjoyed with friends, so why not bring along a few and share in a unique South West experience.
Classes all take place in the workshop in Vasse, can be designed to suit your interests and are currently limited to 4 people.
