This fun, creative, evening basketry workshop will be run at Trish Waters’ art studio in central Dunsborough on the first Wednesday evening of Margaret River Region Open Studios.

Trish, a local artist and art teacher with over thirty years’ experience, will show you how to create a beachy cotton rope basket to contain your small treasures using a beautiful vibrant silk and merino wool fibre for binding. Embellish your creation with braid or beads.

“The Studio” will be set up for MRROS, full of beachy creations to stimulate your senses. This experience also gives you the opportunity for a private viewing of Trish’s body of work.

Interesting conversations and laughter about all things oceanic encouraged.

All materials provided along with afternoon tea and a glass of wine on arrival.
