Beginners Wheel Throwing Weekend Intensive with Sally May Mills

  • Claylines Studio 11 Melaleuca Drive Busselton Australia (map)

An intensive beginner’s wheel throwing retreat, with two full mornings of focused studio time. Explore the physical and meditative qualities of wheel throwing, and learn the fundamentals of making a cylinder and bowl form.

If you haven’t been able to commit to a full term of classes, or want to see if wheel throwing is for you, this is your chance to supercharge your clay experience.

Includes a home made morning tea on both days to fuel the creative vibes.

Learn how to:

  • Centre clay on the wheel

  • Throw bowls and cylinders

  • Trim and finish your pots

Maximum of six people to ensure you get personal attention. Get in quick to secure your wheel.

Please note that at the end of the workshop you will NOT have finished pieces to take home. Ceramics is a process orientated craft and requires drying time and firing. Your pieces will be formed and ready for the first firing, however, glazing and additional firing will be carried out by Sally at a later date, and you will be notified when they are ready for collection.

Includes all equipment, clay, glaze and firing.

Workshop is non-refundable. If you change your mind after you have paid, you may transfer your booking to a friend for the same session.
